Just curious bro,

why say ZC31 when SSS is the more commonly used term?

Just like why say FD2R when can use CTR?

I don't understand. ^_^

yo..i actually use them interchangeably in my postings. i kinda like the sound of zc31 also.

it's also a much more precise way of naming ur ride. used to drive a vios..got preFL, FL, belta vios..it's hard to just say old vios and expect people to understand also, hence NCP42 and NCP93 (iirc) comes in..

Esp for cars like Type R..much easier to say FD2R vs FN2R rather than CTR Jap sedan vs CTR Euro hatch.

Funny when I say Civic ES, 90% chance of the shop people going "Huh? What's that?" [confused]

Not really a big fan of CF.. Just wanna look good on the exterior.. Dun go track also..

Yo bro, don't worry la..actually I never thought 3M dry carbon bonnet as wannabe or what..cos it looks totally different!

Last time I did dry carbon on the bonnet of my vios. Why? Cos the front was kinda round and I wanted to make it look sleeker by removing the reflection and gloss that comes with the stock bonnet. The result was cool as the front ended up looking 'flatter' and hence sleeker.

Never once did real CF bonnet cross my mind cos first it was too LOUD and attracted all the wrong attention.

haha bro..yup..that's why using chassis codes to identify cars is also a great way of communicating with fellow petrol heads..

ES is the civic before this current gen of FDs right? Seen a couple of ES with lowered suspension. Looks sleek..

well said.. guess he got nothing to say.. that even expensive car also do wrap..

Cannot be expensive la... cheapskate ppl dun buy expensive cars. Right?

Anyway before you do a big scale wrap, I highly suggest concentrating on the little details first. I, like you, wanted to wrap the bonnet/roof/trunk.. in the end, I just decided to "try it out" by wrapping small areas: side mirrors, door handles..

Even without wrapping a big portion of the car, the little details add up to a big difference.

Hey TS, I'm driving a zc31 too and I have my roof and bonnet wrapped with 3M dry carbon. I hated seeing those water marks/stains on the roof of my previous car that's why I had it wrapped. Cleaning-wise, its a cinch!! I'm just worried about the sticky residue if I ever decide to remove the wrapping. Oh and one more thing, the chances of stone chips on your bonnet are greatly reduced!

Krado: Bro, thanks for your 'poser' pictures! hahaha, I had a good laugh indeed!!

Aye, want to stick, don't be afraid of residue..

Then I give you something else to worry, after 1-2 years of carbon wrap, you take it out, prepare to see your car different color... [laugh]
