Ticklish8 3rd Gear November 25, 2010 Share November 25, 2010 Police have arrested a 15-year-old male youth on 22 Nov 2010 for inciting violence online in the aftermath of the Downtown East murder which occurred on 31 Oct 2010. Investigations revealed that in the afternoon of 4 Nov 2010, the suspect had posted comments on You Tube in relation to the Downtown East murder claiming that he was associated with a gang and challenging other online users in the video wall postings to a fight by stating a specific date, time and location. Police warn that those who post such irresponsible remarks and claim association with gangs will be taken to task ↡ Advertisement

Osprey23 Turbocharged November 25, 2010 Share November 25, 2010 YouTube also they wanna arrest.. lanjiao la IMHO, posting of irresponsible video on YouTube is worse than posting irresponsible remarks on online forum. Videos usually will leave a deeper impression on viewers and more effective in stirring up emotions. In gist, be responsible for what you say or share on the Internet. There are many more cases where citizens property, life are at thread. Just open wangbap or sin ming paper and you can read all the slashing, bashing cases happening around us. Now they want to be pro-active by tightening their "catch" on cyber world. WTH! IMO, very wayang by MIB especially with the announcement of year end bonus during past couple of days. Osprey23 Turbocharged November 25, 2010 Share November 25, 2010 Hahaha.. you must be kidding me.. punching people is not seizable offence and yet they arrest a small boy who posts taunts on a foreign website.. really dumb law we have Seizable or non seizable, it is still an offence. The only difference is that the law does not give the police power to arrest if offence is classified as non seizable. As far as i am concern, as long as non seizable is not treated as no offence, I am ok. You think what the boy did is trivial? With all due respect, I do not agree. He is obviously a time bomb ticking. Better to diffuse it early before it explodes.

This young punk still proudly post on YouTube to challenge other to another gang clash. Is it not that he is trying to create more havoc by inciting violence? If the police did not take him to task and another incident take place, will they notbe slammed again for not putting a stop to this online nonsense? Joseph22 Turbocharged November 26, 2010 Share November 26, 2010 Lets look at it this way. Inciting Violence is one thing. Inciting Violence with declarationg of your Gang status is another. He will be worse if he claimed to be a Terrorist and intend to bomb Orchard Road. expect him to be deten under ISA.
