Versatile 1st Gear November 25, 2010 Share November 25, 2010 Yesterday hand itchy want to DIY remove the visor cover but failed badly. Accidentally unplugged the 12V cable and have hard time fixing it back due to the short cable. Managed to fixed back but my gauge LED colour changed and the peak beeping sound came back again. From that i found online, to remove the beeping peak sound, hold the button on the gauge with ignition off and release it after 6sec after ignition on. (Don't have to crank to turn engine on) - True? Since the LED colour changed and the peak beeping sound came back, does that mean that all the settings has been resetted? Please advice. If it's really hard reset.. probably i will need to head down to my workshop and get them configure for me and also remove the visor cover at the same time.. ↡ Advertisement

Versatile 1st Gear November 25, 2010 Author Share November 25, 2010 (edited) i have the same experience. recently my guages has that sound too. irritating rite - esp. when need more power and accelarate, the stupid sound keeps beep... beep... beep...!!! maybe u need to visit yr workshop.. My concern is the settings leh. Don't know go run or not. Cos i got water and oil temp gauges which was pre-configured to peak at 110 degree. Now i worried the settings run and go back to the default state. Anyway, the beeping sound should be easy to solve.. how about the led colour? Press what to change colour? I unplugged 12V, plug back and colour changed. Really is LOL. Edited November 25, 2010 by Versatile
Anakusop Clutched November 25, 2010 Share November 25, 2010 Bro how do u configure the peak settings? Mine doesnt seem to peak at all... If i have a vacumm gauge it should peak at 0 correct? Pardon me if im wrong..
Unfair 3rd Gear November 25, 2010 Share November 25, 2010 For mine, all settings will be gone, need to reconfigure the peaks. To do so, just hold on to the button after the opening ceremony. The needle will jump to the peak that is set which is settings mode. To set the peak, press the button again again, needle will move again. When reached your desired peak setting, just let go, it will revert to normal mode by itself. For colour change, mine has a switch to toggle the colour. Pardon me if im wrong.. Vacumm peak is at 0. What i talking about is water/oil temp peak at certain degree where the red amber will shown. As per what bro Unfair said, you can try this method. I recalled the guy at the workshop uses similiar way to configure the peak settings where you can set the peak at certain degree by pressing the button located at the gauge.
