Wrong. If you are WKS or Tharman Shanmugaratnam, all is forgiven and group hug. They will tell you that if you consider things "rationally and logically", that is the right thing to do.

My fren's boss wana give him a Land Rover Discovery.

 

Only condition is my fren cannot sell the car. My fren rejected the offer cos the fuel consumption of the Discovery will kill him. [laugh]

but it's true there are many high-fliers and equally generous bosses in SG.....just that maybe they don't tell anyone and remain low-key hehe

Car is so cheap there, even Merc is not expensive...it's nothing for the Boss to give out 50 units la...

 

I remember few years ago, in the Oprah Show, she gave away a car each to each of the audience in her studio as a surprise gift, i was like.. [jawdrop]

 

Car is too expensive in Singapore for company to give away as incentive to their staff, probably only to some top management or top sales.

 

I only heard of a Top Manager of an Insurance Company buying all his agent a BMW, but only downpayment, monthly installment the agents will have to pay themselves, according to him, this is to motivate them to chiong their sales.....

ya since bros here saying cars are so cheap there... dan our garment says tat watever they price is affordable to peasants mah... inclusive of housing and cars... so thus company shld well be able to afford the same incentive too... :p

When recruiting someone in my old company, the personnel we are after is a high flyer.

"She" told her managements that we are recruiting her and her boss gave her a VW Golf.

 

My director when was a CEO of a listed company gave away 2 Merc for hosting golf event.

2 guys potted hole in 1.

In normal days, he had gave away Volvo, Mercs to the other board of directors.

 

In Army, they gave away MID vehicles too right [:p]

the stuff oprah give is all sponsored one la... like GM sponsor cars...

 

but she give alot of stuff. that time got what free all expenses paid holiday for everyone in the audience [:p]
