I locked myself out of the car

2 hour worth of diesel - don't tell me the engine was still running when you accidentally locked yourself out?

I once accidentally locked myself out of my rented lorry too because of my lazy habit of locking without the keys (pressing the driver side lock and slamming while holding the door handle). Have since made it a habit to always lock with the key itself.

So funny you [:p] .

If that you are able to match a spare key which are super flat, keep a spare in your wallet lor.

Or that use a tape to tape somewhere at the bumper to avoid the next time.

I thought diesel engines shouldn't let it run till completely dry and engine stopped due to lack of fuel? Will have some serious problem. Unlike petrol engines.

Happen to my parents once with an avante, it locked by itself once they got out without switching of the engine. Got a locksmith that charge us $60 for a 30sec job.

I am quite sure for toyota or nissan cars, the lock will jump up if you close the driver door with the lock pressed down.

I think for some, must pull up the handle when closing to ensure that is locked.

If just close normally the car will remain unlocked.

OK la.

2 days ago, my son dropped my car key while going out of lift. Zun zun into the lift gap and gone.

Luckily, it is at home already. Called lift maintenance to retrieve it. [laugh]
