agree. They may charge higher, but no point doing things that may damage our engines and charge us. Maybe outside workshops more likely?

if you hang around the WS and superivse the workers, i doubt they will pull a fast one on you.

I am abit confused. If you are able to start the car and drive before sending to workshop for service, why the car was towed to the workshop. You would have driven to the workshop yourself.

I was confused because I sent my car to Ready Autocare at Level 3 AMK Autopoint before and was very happy with their services. Then I realised that you're referring to RDY Autocare at Level 2 and not the workshop I went to... just wanted to point out the confusion as I thought "RDY" was short for "Ready." [:p]

Nope.. it's a different shop. RDY claims to be a specialist in Chevrolet cars, which essentially, in Singapore's context, are just normal Korean cars with engines co-developed with GM. Any competent workshop will be able to repair normal cars like these.

I don't feel too good about that workshop too. I got to know this workshop when I was still driving my Aveo and and also a recommended place to do servicing from Team Chevy's forum. I called once to enquire a change of the top radiator hose only. I was quoted $200 just for that despite being a RDY member. Went to Alpine, bought the hose for $15 and change it myself.

Treated myself to a few servings of curry fish head.
