engine flush is to milk yr money.

think about it, if a simple flush can take out all the stubborn thingy in you engine, wht will it do to your seals and gaskets...

unless my car's damn old and loss of huge power, i wont flush.....

I have done this using the OWS package, feeling no difference just a matter's of self comfort.

However the mechanic said that the flush additive is to make the old oil smoother to ease the flow of those hidden dirt / metal chip.

in most cases, it does neither good or harm to the engine.

it does flush out some bits of gunk, but that's about it.

do note that the engines need not be super duper clean.

some amount of carbon buildup is actually ok. and catered for in the design.

unless the the engine is so so gunked up, then ....

a teardown is probably required. not a flush.

in anycase, when you change the usual engine oil on time. it's already a flush.

out with the old, in with the new.

Nope. actually i read somewhere the older the worse for an engine flush.

Cos the deposits actually help seal worn gaskets etc.

U flush suddenly all those tear and wear plugged with gaskets is an empty hole.

Engine down straightaway.
