Hi everyone,

I just took delivery of my mazda 6 2.5 Premium. But my boot floor is raised 6cm to allow for a bigger temporary spare wheel. I remembered the one at the showroom, its boot floor is not raised. The boot capacity look much smaller now.

Am i getting the same spec as other new owner here ? Or they fitted my car with lower spec ?

Hi, my 6 also has the raised boot floor for the spare wheel. I'm thinking the showroom unit u saw was without spare wheel? One of my friend requested not to deliver with spare wheel for lower boot floor.

Variodical,

Thank for your reply. I suppose the full size spare wheel is the standard in Singapore Mazda 6. The boot seem like build for a space saver spare wheel, why don't they offer the space saver one ?

Hi, I bring this to my SE too. He mentioned this is 1/2 size spare tyre and he could exchange me with repair kit. But I think it over and search thru internet; if we use repair kit, after use original tyre needs to thru away. Some more ic I don't take this 1/2 size tyre, it is very hard and expensive to buy later..

so end up I leave it...

Me too.

Well the SE told me that can remove the spare tyre and lower down the base. Buy tyre repair foam pump just in case for permanent removal of spare tyre.

Bad thing about the foam is, use once only and tyre must change. Cannot repair Liao.

Yes, agreed. After use repair foam, tyre can not use already.

Any difference from 2017 2.5 premium vs 2017 2.0 exec?

Aside 0.5L, 19"Rim. More safety feature? Outlook same?

How much you paid?

17" 225 55 Bridgestone 1 piece not cheap. $200/pc?

Not worth to use foam

I suppose keeping the 1/2 size spare wheel is not a bad idea, just the boot not originally designed for it, seem a bit out of propositional.

According to the brochure, the 2007 2.5L permium  vs 2.0L exec

i-ELOOP, 19" Wheel, Sunroof, paddle swift, that's it.

Bought it for 143K, 1 bid guarantee, gave me open cat, delivered in 3 weeks. I managed to squeeze SE for 1 yr road tax.

I was thinking to finish last month of my trade in mazda 3 (end of 10 yr of its life)

The 19" rim is NICE!!!!

Wanted to top up for the 19" rim also cannot.

I traded in my 9yr 10mth M3 to them. SE gave me 1k discount on M6. Bought 2.0L exec @ 133k, Machine Grey, 1bid open cat 56k COE.

SE never give me 1yr road tax , only 3yr warranty n service, solar film n Papago cam(collecting dust in my store room).
