Get a second opinion from elsewhere, maybe City Auto... Is yours the 1st or 2nd Gen Mazda 6? how many more years to go?

You might want to consider getting recon parts

I changed my drive shaft, front upper arms & lower arms for less than $1k (1st Gen)

Mine is the 04/08 2.5GH model. Dont know whether is it the 1st or 2nd Gen Mazda6.

Still have 4years+ to go.

Is yours the Lau6?

I have checked with some stocklist and they told me a set of lower arm costs abt$800.

Maybe I should make a trip down to City Auto.

Any other workshop that specialist in Mazda?

City Auto... I leave it to them for recon parts... For OEM parts, I buy from Chin Hon..... But my experience with OEM parts not that fantastic thus far...

Tks bro! Think I will give City Auto a try then, just taken over my car. So I guess better to have the specialized wok shop give it a full check.

Old mazda 6. Nearing 120k.

How's your check? I hope the previous guy has changed some of the wear & tear items.... Urs the 4speed SA or 5speed SP?

Just take note that some mechanics will just recommend change based on Odo.... If u r going City Auto, ask the admin gals if your car has done any servicing there... They keep computer records

If he find a MPS and actually buy it, I will salute him lah all the way. MPS will be a good car to own. I driven the MPS engine on the CX7, very nice engine to be driven on a Mz6, it will be the ultimate zoom zoom
