You can try your luck with these. I have no affiliation and have not used their services before, just random google.

Daytime Running Light(DRL) Repair - Juzz Performance

Headlamp DRL, LED REPAIR RENEW, Car Accessories, Car Workshops & Services on Carousell

Or you could try to get a used unit from Japan: [Used]Left Headlight MAZDA Atenza 2018 6BA-GJEFP G48E51041B - BE FORWARD Auto Parts Again I have not done this myself.

This is interesting. @Skywire01 Let us know if you manage to get it repaired and the cost too...

When I first drove the car, I can feel the size difference while reverse & parallel parking. It just takes some getting used to.

I drive a 2015 Mazda 6 2.0. I have owned an older model and test driven a new model. My take of the difference are

  1. NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness): NVH is definitely way better than the pre-facelift model as they have more noise dampening stuff included at the undercarriage and doors. I remember reading some where the feedback given by pre-facelift owners is that the NVH is way worse than it competitiors (Camry, Accord, K5, Sonata, etc) but win in driving dynamics. As an owner, I can confirm the NVH is not that good against D segment cars but better than some "C" segment cars.
  2. Infotainment: No android auto or apple car play.
  3. Normal or Executive Model: Normal model is very basic, mine doesn't have keyless entry. I recommend taking at least the Executive mode if you're going for the pre-facelift.

Driving or ownership wise, I don't see any major difference besides the upgraded NVH and Infotainment. I have driven multiple times to KL and Genting, its a great car to do long distance driving. I think you will be ok with pre-facelift, just need to check the wear & tear parts.

Excellent share ... indeed NVH notably much much improved and indeed executive variant is the one for me with led headlight and HUD which is also on windscreen type and not pre-FL plastic sheet one.

Mazda 6 is quite long and nice looking car but tuned for efficiency and cannot zoom zoom leisurely .. hence the 2.5 turbo variant available outside Simplepore which would hv been a perfect ride.

Cheers.

@richard_crl032 In future if Mazda produce the new 6 with RWD & 6 Cyls Engine..even better.

Very limited market here for large CC cars, that do not have the brands of Mercedes, BMW, Lexus, Audi. I doubt that the AD will ever bring models that use this engine here. Especially more so if the price cannot come close to that of a Camry. The top spec Accord here is selling for $284,000, while the Camry goes for $265,000. I have yet to see a new Accord on the road.

For an AD to bring in a model, they also have to stock spares. Which unless they sell the car in volume, it won't make sense. Unless the AD and buyer are both prepared to pay a premium for the spares held by the AD.

there is no way mazda rwd and 6cyc can survive in spore

at what price point to sell

it fails before it starts ...

even BBA have to downgrade to 4cyc 2L turbo to survive ... and this model considered "higher performance model"

the bread and butter model is 3yc 1.5L turbo

Agree..

Its unfortunate.

Our motoring landscape here is akin to mono-culture

Japanese cars then have a market because the mid/large segments of 300SEL/XJ has a suitable size replacement with Camry/Accord/626/Cefiro etc.

BBA then have no civics/corolla/bluebird/323 equivalents.

Given the expanding market of the European brands, Japanese cars with lesser innovation and corporate convention, will gradually be squeezed out.

SG market is too small be affect what Mazda forecasts as demand. The distributor can only make-do with what the factory allows for configuration.
