hi all mazda 6 owner, planning to get yr 2015/16 mazda 6. have question what the different between 2.0 standard vs 2.0 executive? tried to search online but cant find much info.🙏

If remember correctly, at that time, Standard trim does not have Keyless entry, Auto on/off headlight. head up unit, LED day running light, Bose speaker.

Most people regret getting Standard trim as no keyless entry. Need to take key from pocket just to unlock door as engine start by push button.

Dear fellow mz6 drivers

Which battery model did you change to? Can mz6 use agm model instead of efb (q85) model?

Currently driving 2019 GL model with Yuasa Q85 from Dec 21.

Just to share since experienced it ... changed battery outside and dash error arised. Had to go back to mazda to fix it as reset by battery shop (perhaps lousy one) did not resolve it permanently and had to pay 100-200 .. cannot remember.

2nd change LL got Eurokar to do so and was not cheaper overall.

Hope your battery shop gives you guarantee and you do not face my issue .. albeit just sold 5 yr old mint one at 56k km driven by wife.

Cheers.

PS: AGM waste $ and not needed for mazda 6 imho .. cheaper efb ones are fine and actually less prone to heat degradation in our nice sunny and hot red dot to last longer.

Has anyone here ever installed an Oil Catch Can to your Mazda 6?

It s true that there are a lot of dirty oil to catch?

Hi, no need and waste $ as well as another opportunity for failure of such typical short lived aftermkt toys. Enjoy !

Neutral Newbie

Folks,

Quick check in. U guys changed the fuel filter at 60,000 km servicing?

Our fuel seems very clean. Is there any merit to change the fuel filter?

Cheers.

Why waste money to do power tailgate for sedan? SUV/MPV necessary but sedan?

Many Mazda 6 Owners wanted to impress others,by showing their Cars have Feature like an Atas Conti Car,like Mercedes Benz E-Class or BMW 5 Series.

I've recently put down a deposit for a Mazda 6 2.5. 2017 pre facelift but 2018 registered, 80k km mileage. Arranging AA inspection once loan is approved. Any Mazda 6 issues I should be wary of? Thanks!
