Genes 6th Gear June 12, 2012 Share June 12, 2012 where can i find a mazda stockist? also if i can find the prices? my car suspension has some funny sound, every now and then when steering is fully locked and there is pressure applied to the wheels there will be a tang sound, sometimes it happens a few times but othertimes no sound at all so i'm considering to change the entire suspension set up but afraid it'll be a huge sum Search this thread. Surferguy1978 1st Gear June 30, 2012 Share June 30, 2012 if i'm not wrong blue illumination is enabled only on the newer >09 m6 models or the hatchback models Nope. It should be available in 2008 version cos i saw another 2008 version havin the blue illumination. Any mazda 6 owner can confirm whether the blue illumination can be on/off or it only appear when it's dark. Something like auto headlight sensor

Something like auto headlight sensor I think u are looking for the R spec 6 if u want something other that the usual orange lights. The normal V spec cars' dash only light up in orange. R spec and the 2.5s get the prettier lighting u are looking for.
Surferguy1978 1st Gear June 30, 2012 Share June 30, 2012 Yup i look at the R specs. Seems like the one i drove dont have the blue lights. Thus just looking for clarification online. Might go down again to take a look.

Surferguy1978 1st Gear July 1, 2012 Share July 1, 2012 ya, it have the blue lights but it's pretty dim... probably the bulb is worn out... i noticed one thing, the 2008 mazda 6 steering wheel have a slight vibration when stationery. i'm suspecting it could be engine mount issue. anyone know what the cost to replace the engine mount? any 2008 mazda 6 owner experience this before and is your vibration related to engine mounting? Patwong 3rd Gear July 2, 2012 Share July 2, 2012 Hi, My is R spec 2L / Aug 2008. There is a small knob on top of fuel gauge. Press to on/off the dashboard light. Turn to adjust brightness. For slight vibration at steering wheel, need to change engine mounting- works for me.
Surferguy1978 1st Gear July 2, 2012 Share July 2, 2012 Ya, thanks bro! I noticed the knob on top of the fuel gauge. No matter how I turn, the blue light is still dim. So my conclusion is the bulb issue. Yup vibration is most likely engine mounting after asking workshop. ↡ Advertisement
