Hi kykh,

 

I only used one fob but changed out battery after 11 mth for my forester cos cannot detect ..keke !

Good to know on no aound on shifting to R ...

 

Noise kf brake pedal if various bros have it means design related then ... guess I would not/cannot do anything except spray WD 40 or just up volume of hifi ??

Seems that this is not uncommon. Cycling the park brake on and off may resolve the issue apparently

Using the hand brake has cured the clunking sound.

Strangely enough I grew up using a manual in the UK, where using a hand brake is normal and ingrained.

A habit I need to re-acquire.

Read the good link and my current understanding that it is something about misaligned pads and having ebrake and normal brake setup being commonly used but I got confused with the above ....

 

You and this person does not use apply hand brake when parked as designed and most do ??

i will need to test it out more as car was collected only a few days ago.

 

yes, i haven't been consistently using the park brake. my previous old ride came with a foot-activated park brake so im still not used to the Mz 6's button brake

Mazda 6 prices have dropped 2k across the board

 

M6 2.0

 

standard 104k

 

executive 111k

 

For those who missed earlier, should have chance to get a standard below 100k now  [:)]

Hi,

Would appreciate if anyone knows the type/size/ shape of the front and rear speakers?

Collecting standard by end of month. Bose should be same size too.

Would like to transfer speakers from current Mazda 5 if can fit.

SE unable to advise.

Most AD are taking the same stance - if u tamper with the electrical, they will void the battery and electrical warranty. At least I know Honda also like that when I asked them when checking out the showrooms. Best thing is they don't offer in house installation of battery packs so we have no choice but to go outside.

 

My last car had the battery pack installed by motor image so they at least honored the warranty. But TEK doesn't offer this service and don't allow outside installation...

Not on warranty only but if it catches for whatever reason, you are covered by insurance which is most critical.

 

However, knowing MI, did you confirmed that it is in your purchase agreement for such coverage or just your SE adding it for you which will then not be covered by insurance ?

 

Never say never ... and I found out the hard way .. lol !

Ouch !

 

Booked 3 weeks ago at 109300 and that was only after squeezed for another 1.5k discount .. fortunately ..keke !

 

No wonder they bidded quite aggresdively in my opinion at 31k+ during last week's coe bidding and missed only by 700 ... guess have to adopt positive thinking that I will get it soon .. lol !

Booked 6 weeks ago without trade-in @ $105k right after d launch......soul red....

 

I was told that soul red additional 1k....if not only 104k

 

Price difference so much within 3 weeks.....faintz....
