I agree ....the place where I lived......suddenly 3-4 Mazda 6 2.0 SP popped up from nowhere.

 

Lowest Depreciation for Jap made 2.0L car could be the reason.

I believe Frostie is driving the newer pre facelift 6. Typically can pump in about 53litres when the low fuel light comes on. So he is going close to 14km/l if I am not wrong. Highest I got was 12.2 so far. Totally stock V spec 6..

9yrs old, 1st Gen Mazda 6. Prior when new she was able to clock 13/14k. I still miss her.

Would anyone know what is the avg depreciation per year one can expect if one goes for a 2nd hand 2008 or 2009 mazda 6?

Hi Genes,

I read in another thread that you are into ice too. Is yours the 2008-2011 Mazda 6? Mine is 2010 model (2.0 V model) and I'm thinking of going for a passive setup plus a sub. I would like to keep the stock HU for the integrated looks but I'm not sure if the stock HU is decent enough to yield an improvement should I do the upgrade. I've checked with Mazda and they said they don't know the brand or model of the stock HU. Crap!

 

Any comments or advice on whether I should still go for the passive setup? Btw, mind sharing what is your setup like and the damage? Thanks in advance for sharing.

Mine's purely stock 08 facelifted 6. but I must qualify that I achieved that on 80% highway. 12km/l is not an issue for me. I'm on stock 16" rim. been thinking of upsizing it but afraid FC will suffer. spare tyre in the boot still.
