Lucaswh 1st Gear November 18, 2010 Share November 18, 2010 Hi all spotted not long ago 2 TPs I think (White top, blue pants with boots) stationing at traffic light junction outside Parkway Parade booking jaywalkers who cross the road during Red Man.. Spotted a small bunch of uncle and auntie kena copy i/c..then later a younger woman was quarreling with the 2 TPs, asking them to be more flexible. So please look out for them if you want to jay walk there! ↡ Advertisement

Wavedancer Neutral Newbie November 18, 2010 Share November 18, 2010 Little India and 'Little China' hotspots for jaywalkers. Speeding lorries only slow down during crackdown and after things settle down, business as usual. Saw pickup with passengers behind weaving in and out and for crying out loud, the 'behind' passengers laughing at cars that they overtook, including me. They just do not seems to get it that if involved in a crash, they would be a statistics which I do not wish to be.

Bystander50 5th Gear November 19, 2010 Share November 19, 2010 Now LTA took away their jobs they luo dao zhe ke di bu. No more glorious moments. heh. Always taking the easy way out catching harmless jaywalkers. When it comes to chasing down speeding vans and lorries, I don't see them so on the ball. The entire police force is on the limelight recently for all the wrong reasons. Resurgence of teen gangs, accidents involving commercial/heavy vehicles on the rise ... etc, interesting to know what they have been doing in the past. And in the past, the mention of "policeman will catch you" to small kids, they'll seem to be frightened off, tell that to a kid now and chances are he'll challenge the policeman to catch him. Resurgence of teen gangs, accidents involving commercial/heavy vehicles on the rise - This is more because of media coverages and the wide usage of technology that enables such news to be posted easily and quickly online. Social networking has caused this news to spread quickly giving people's impression that this type of incidents have surge but in fact it's not. ↡ Advertisement
