Mutant Neutral Newbie November 18, 2010 Share November 18, 2010 Any long term side-effects if keep changing different petrol brands/grades & also engine oil? Coz each time we change engine oil & top up petrol, sure have a few % left of the previous brand. Concern about engine internal cleaniness. Been doing that to my bikes before (now on bike no. 6); so far ok ok. For my current 1st car; abit cautious.. ↡ Advertisement
Booboon 1st Gear November 18, 2010 Share November 18, 2010 no problem. Infact I find my fc gets better when I mix petrol grade.
Wolfy3769 2nd Gear November 18, 2010 Share November 18, 2010 personally i think if u stick to the same EO grade it is okay... like 5W40... or 5W50...also stick to 1 type of EO .. like fully sythentic.. or mineral oil... I think shld be okay for the engine... as for petrol, no harm what u use (RON or brands) as long as it meet ur car mininal RON requirement.
Crazecow Neutral Newbie November 18, 2010 Share November 18, 2010 If you change engine oil too frequently, you will get a hole in your pocket. ↡ Advertisement
