白沙度假村命案其中一名嫌凶的前教师爆料，有学生在课堂上向老师丢椅子，更有小至13岁的学生带刀上学闹事。

 

他告诉《海峡时报》记者，他在3年前教过当时读中三的嫌凶，教的科目是物理。他说，校方一旦察觉学生可能闹事，就会突击检查学生的书包，结果好几次翻出刀子、螺丝起子和铁锤。令人震惊的是最小的学生只有13岁。

 

他说，校方能够及时预防事件发生，是因为校务经理当过警察，懂得如何通过观察学生的肢体语言，看出学生闹事的蛛丝马迹。

 

他坦言曾有学生肆无忌惮的挑衅他。有一次他在学校食堂训导一名学生时，竟有学生走过来干预，指他无权质问。

The former teacher of one of the pasir ris suspects said that students throw chairs towards teachers. Even a 13 yrs old kid (sec 1 most likely) will bring knife to school creating trouble.

 

The teacher says that he taught the suspect when he was sec 3, physics. Upon checking of the some of the students bag, they are shocked that knife, screw drivers and hammers can be found. Youngest was 13 yrs old.

The school has some former police so they are able to spot potential trouble makes in the school.

 

Once he lectured a student in the canteen, another student threatened him. But the student still proceed to approach him and he says he will report to police, but the student did not care and throw a chair towards him.

For some students, the school is their playground. Anyhow throw chairs towards teachers.

 

Some students do not fear teachers. Even once, a student stab his classmate's father and causes the father to be hospitalised. The culprit was sent to boy homes.

 

For problematic students, school adopt a SOFT APPROACH, trying to give the students chance to turn over a new leave. If the students still misbehave, then no choice have to report to police.

This is the entire society problem, and we are now seeing the effects. The reason behind is simple. Parents busy working long hours just to make a support for living and neglect the attention, the quality time and upbringing for their children. More to come really, kids these days are more and more getting out of hand. Being teacher these days are really more than just educating the next generation.

Now the police getting slack. During my time the CIDs will get the disc master to summon those "gangster" into the HOD room. Once inside, without a word the first punch will come followed by as many as 50+ punches Many of them heard MATA will literally leg numb. during our days, no matter how quai lang are we, we still give the deal respect to the teachers. Such thing can never happen then......

Last time we are so scared that our parents being call to sch.Went back home sure kanna whacked.but now if sch call the parents,the teachers or the sch will be questioned by parents and shoot to MOE saying sch shld counselled their kids first blah blah blah........
