It make sense to me, coz it really help to free up the road after the ERP, take a look at bugis 3 bucks evening ERP and suntec 2.50 bucks evening ERP, after the gentry the road is clear and smooth, CP plenty for ppl to park.

yup..its just like "free parking"..it doesn't work..people hoard the lots and took a longer time to move off..our resources are limited, hence it makes sense to free up the roads using ERP

Pricing of ERP also make a huge different. Compare those gentry that charge 50 cents and those that charge 3 bucks, the road condition is totally different.

i find very big difference, now at least min 40km/h all the way. 6 years back, once I entered the tunnel will be playing with the brake already. The opening of KPE does help reduces the congestion here

someone pointed out something to me....ERP in the evening is for people to stay back and work longer in the office....muahahaha...

see...ppl go office earlier and leave later...better for economy (???) and at the same collect lui.

what a multi-prong system this is...

Last night i watch news heard that toilet also must have ERP during peak hrs. Or did not heard wrongly???

Many things make no sense nowadays.

Just like ERP, either we don't s--t or pee during peak hrs or we don't use the toilet to s--t or pee if possible during peak hrs. So I think it'll be back to the old days of smelly stairwells....... [laugh]

yes erp does work. ever since they setup the plaza sing gantry i've not stepped foot into town orchard for years then only to in the last 3yrs making less than 5 trips there. i save more money at the expense of the orchard retailers and economy.

Same here. Seldom drive into Orchard area since the start of ERP there

thats what traffic control is about... no point slowing vehicle ownership. usage is the one that causes jams. i can own 5 ferraris but if I'm out of the country 80% of the time, I don't contribute to the jams on the road
