Assistance required to stop Spamming

Dear Folks,

 

As per subject, my hotmail account has been sending spam messages to all my email contacts lately and this is really really annoying!!!!!!! [furious]

 

Any experts care to offer insights and expertise on how to stop this nuisance?

Someone got hold of your login info and used your account to spam. Time to change your password.

And most likely some kind of malware resides in our pc. Do something about that.

i've been encountering alot of spams coming into my hotmail account.

 

Whats happening ar?? 2012 coming?

 

Yeah, and people who encounter similar problems like me are the apparent culprits.

Come On, is there any IT experts here to offer assistance??

Oops, saw a typo in my last post... "And most likely some kind of malware resides in your pc. Do something about that." Correction in red.... so yeah, the other thing u need to do is clean your pc of malware. Maybe some malware is stealing your passwords.

how does your email contacts recognise the spam emails is from you?

1) via email id

OR

2) email address

 

example, some spammers may use your email address as email id (i.e. userid: ksmlj, user email: [email protected], so when your recipient recieve an email from sender id "[email protected]") and therefore recipients thought they receive such emails from u

My contacts received these spams from my email address and had the impression that I have gone bonkers lol... I haven

I got that before, your own inbox will be filled with your own spam failed message. Lots of them. But then, I ask around since I was in office, and most them my colleagues experience the same thing before, they say after a couple of month hotmail will block your account for good. But after changing the pw everything stop. For now? Anyway I create another account in Gmail to replace the one that got spam.
