goodness.. recent spate of slashing,stabbing....WELCOME to stabbing & slashing HUB !

with WongKanSEng's departure, Singapore has spiralling into a not-so-safe anymore country...

with police force 101% resources dedicated into homeland security, counter terrorism, duty-not-paid ciggies, less than 3/4 tank SG vehicles crossing into JB, anti litter campaign, spin doctors spinning PRO PAP propaganda, anti-Opposition strategy, anti cheating at casino, summons for litterbugs... no wonder....

Maybe the media practice "selective reporting", not too many criminal news lest it scares FT away

i read on The Straits Times forum section that some feel there shld be a ban on entry to casino for foreign workers here in singapore to protect them from becoming compulsive gamblers. Its really sad to read that some have worked so long here only to lose their savings on the tables. Sometimes i wonder if its a social time bomb as more locals n FT/FW go gambling, if these people get into debt, what will these entail for the streets of singapore? will they be desperate enough to kill for $ given that they lost their 10years savings from working dead hard??

HDB prices/demand rocketed, now then action.

Car population rocketed, now then action.

MRT/ buses pack like sardine, now then action.

FT flooded job market, now then action.

Singapore flooded when rain, now then action.

Casino still in infancy stage, no action required.

in conclusion:

No action unless erection.

Precisely. Too much attention and effort put into the wrong things. They seem more interested in pursuing "harmless" people. It's a safer way to earn their salary, I guess.
