Whereabouts of Chia Tye Poh

Does anyone know the whereabouts of Chia Thye Poh now? Is he still in Netherlands?

not really exiled from the country. rather he was sort of banished to Sentosa, and that was after he was detained under the ISA for donkey years.

 

i dunno where he is now, but how come TS is interested in knowing where this guy is?

i think he didn't renounce use of force and violence that's why he kept so long? i remember him as sentosa man, probably somewhere in europe as he was there when he was released

Nope, it is because he refuse to admit to the accusation that he is pro-communist. Even when Canada offered asylum to him, but he refused to leave even though he was given the option to leave. He is the only person whom the government could not break him into admission.

 

And why I'm interested is because I hope his presence can bolster the opposition unity which I feel is lacking currently.
