2) If VET P1, WEB P2 and ALO DNF, then VET = WDC (Both scores 256 points but VET 5 wins has 1 more win than WEB 4 wins )

3) If WEB P1, VET P2 and ALO P3, then WEB = WDC but VET gets pushed to 3rd..(VET make way for WEB because unofficially, VET is being "ordered" to do so and he might do it)

From http://en.espnf1.com/redbull/motorsport/story/33417.html

When asked in the post-race press conference if he would make way for Webber, Vettel refused to answer.

"It's one week away," he said. "As a kid, I never liked it when my parents teased me for something and didn't answer my question, so now I'm in a good position to tease you, so you will see."

My apologies. I guess we will have the answers coming Sunday..

I think a lot of folks forgot maclarens in e pix....

Jenson wud easily let webber thru, allowing webber v alonso knowing that Alonso will be conserverative as he needs to finish the race to win. Webber has nothin to lose as long as he is behind Alonso. Hence will be super aggressive. Worst case both take each other out :( that will leave Hamilton v Vettlel, similar scenario as webber v Alonso.... Hamilton will not hold back against vettel. We all know how aggressive he can be.... My guess Vet will crack and allowing Hamilton to pass. If not it sud be a red bull - maclaren finish.

Hope the above doesn't not happen though... And Alonso wins! It's the driver's championship ... Sud go to the best driver and Alonso is by far the best driver this season grabbing the F10 to the podium so many times. Vet is still young and it's only a matter of time.

My humble opinion.... Dun flame me :) I'll be stuck at a wedding dun think can watch e race :(

All e best to e drivers n a good clean race!

What an ending, with VET becoming the youngest WDC..Congrats to him and RBR..

For fans of HAM, ALO and WEB, all is not lost...The new season starts in March 2011 and I'm sure they will be back even stronger..

Congrats to those who "bought" VETTEL from Singapore Pools...

Yes, till now i still dun understand why he pit so early, Vettel can pit at lap 40, he pitted lap 16 stuck behind Petrov for the entire race.

a few coincidence other "team mates" that helped Vettel to become drivers champion

"German team mate", Schumacher's accident brought out the safety car.

"German team mate", Nico Rosberg and "Renault team mate", Vitaly Petrov pitted when the safety car was deployed.

Fernando Alonso came out from the pits behind Petrov & Rosberg (who had already pitted) and blocked Alonso all the way.

"Renault team mate" Robert Kubica pitted and came out in front of Petrov.

In the very last race, when it mattered most, alonso was let down by his team principal/engineer. When webber pitted, alonso and massa were 4th and 5th respectively.

Just maintain that order and drive until the later part of the race...get massa to hog the back of the queue by staying off alonso every lap and not let anyone overtake him. By the last 10 to 15 laps, alonso could pit and rejoin without losing track position, similar to what kubica did. Even if vettel won, alonso will still be champion by coming in 4th. This is hard for alonso to swallow, to lose when it was all within reach.

That said, if there was any unforeseen incidents/problems with either red bull or mclaren (which in this case did not materialise), then maybe the ferrari's team decision to pit early would be vindicated and they would be "brilliant".

In any case, this should have been Alonso's 3rd championship. Feel for him...

Congrats anyway, to the crash kid.

What there's to feel for him when he is just a spoilt brat who throws the toys out of his pram when he doesn't get his way. Even when he won the championship with Renault, there were already some "issues" with the car's suspension that did not conform to the requirements and they had to modify it as well.

I remember this is not the only time ALO has shook fist this year though..

Well, either way, I think ALO should not have made that fist/finger gesture at Petrov..What wrong did Petrov do besides driving the race of his life in order to keep his race seat?

I find it somewhat ironic that ALO did not win the WDC because he could not overtake a car from his previous team (which he might have ironically helped to develop in 2009), driven by a driver who replaced the other "Singapore Crashgate" protoganist..(Nelson Piquet Jr)
