Looking for free OCR software (JAP handwritings to ENG)

hehe i doubt so.....I been looking for free Chinese OCR software as well but to no avail.

 

Anyone that has the Chinese OCR please also give me the source.

Ok wat, chinese higher chance... jap I think abit hard...

just like to share i just found adobe acrobat 9 pro software and it was able to do the OCR for my document which has mixed language of english and chinese. i find it quite intelligent. last time the software i use for ocr before, i have to specify it to read either in english or chinese and it is a problem when my document is written in mixed languages.

 

so i think you can try to lay your hand on this. i believe as long as it supports jap language, it should be able to ocr the jap words.
