Karoon Turbocharged November 4, 2010 Share November 4, 2010 In today's'world, it appears food that DOESN'T cause cancer that will make headlines... Aspartame (sugar substitute) found linked to cancer. Same for parabens, found in most body lotions and shampoos.

Alexdv75 Neutral Newbie November 5, 2010 Share November 5, 2010 True, science is a wonder but in everything we eat some demerit is being pointed out. Maybe it's the way of science to remind us that we should eat even the good ones in moderation. We all know fast foods and processed foods are not good for health but we still have those temptations. Science is performing it's responsibility by rather scaring us :) but it's for our good health we should also start doing our part if we want to enjoy good health. Good-Carbuyer 1st Gear November 5, 2010 Share November 5, 2010 Hey anyone can confirm? Got AVA test? Hmm... there was a report some years back from HongKong, that people living/working in newly completed concrete buildings have higher chances of lung cancer. In fact all concrete buildings, (residential, offices) have such risk. New ones more risky, so the new condo sells well?
Sirex Neutral Newbie November 5, 2010 Share November 5, 2010 My job involves knowledge on food products. We all know potato comes in different shapes and sizes, I stop taking regular sized chips that are mixed with artificial stuff since.. Lays ok as I know they use top grade oil and it comes in it's original shape. Look at Jack and Jill and pringles you will know the difference in quality of oil and artificial starch used. Kangadrool Supersonic November 6, 2010 Share November 6, 2010 (edited) I thought those chips are actually mashed from potatoes, then formed into standard round shape by machines? That's why all have the same size and same shape, unlike tapioca chips which are cut and fried. Edited November 6, 2010 by Kangadrool
