There's a food centre at Lorong 7. Blk 22 if I remember correctly. Always go there for the fried oyster, one of the best I have tried so far.

Ah Chuan fried oyster..super crispy..i do visit once a month just to eat that..sometimes will frequent the Kok Kee turtle soup(if its not sold out by 2pm) [laugh]

I had the one at Kitchener Road recently. I find the soup tasty enough to my liking. But the chilli provided

was so so... I prefer the chilli served at Tampines 505.

I tried the one at adam road, black soup base which is more herbal. But meat not as nice as bukit merah view one.

Also tried the one at bedok interchange which i think is an epic fail.

I would think bukit merah view > adam hawker center > kitchener road > bedok interchange

I think i have been taking too much mutton soup, not good for my health haha.

Dude,

thanks for the update.

Will go through and share with you my thoughts.

In the past, I have tried the Bedok interchange (New Century) or something like that.

But I think the standard dropped along the years.

I overheard this group of cabbies saying there's one really good one at Macpherson area. Can anyone confirm this?

Which food centre?

yesterday i went to try the one at old airport road. the mutton is tender and the soup has a strong mutton taste. For those who dislike the strong mutton taste should avoid this stall.

Had herbal mutton soup a couple of days ago Whampoa Food Centre. The stall is facing a row of shops with a make shift durian stall. This is not bad but I believe not the best.

I have tried the one at Bedok Int but that stall's standard has really dropped.

Anyone can recommend any?

The one in Bukit Merah View is not bad. Open day time only and close shop when finished emptying all the muttonz.. normally before 430pm. Its a must try located within the food centre facing the carpark playground. Bonappetite! [;)]

Just tried the herbal mutton soup at Adam Rd Food Ctr.

Herbal taste/smell not strong enuff for my liking. Not used to the dark color of the soup. Gives the impression that he used dark soya sauce.

Today, tried the stall at Geylang Bahru Food Centre. The stall facing car park. It was just ok for me, nothing much to shout about.

There used to be another stall at this food ctr also selling herbal mutton soup which was located at the inside of the food ctr. Unfortunately it has shifted, now operated by a tze char stall called Weng Fatt Kitchen. This is the one that was good. Not only was the taste above average but the portion was more generous too.

If anyone knows where they shifted to, do tell.

Been to Geylang Bahru Food Centre, now even the outer one (facing carpark) Herbal Mutton Soup store moved.

Agreed that the inside store the couple very generous on mutton portion and taste good too but think they moved

out since last year I remember. Wonder where these two stores moved to?
