Heard blitz is from idemitsu. but blitz s2 is quite good.

Thanks for feedback bro!

Surprised to hear it is from idemitsu, seems very good oil from them.

I did not have good experience with their brake fluid, however.

Anyone know if its worth it changing to HKS?

don't waste your money on HKS oil.

I tried before. It is as good as other decent off-the-shelf brands like mobile-1, castrol, etc.

If you really want to spend a lot on something that really works, go for Motul. I tried once and never want to try again. Not because it is bad, tt's because it is way too overprice. [:p]

HKS don't make oil, they buys from another oil producer in Japan.

Yes, many companies like HKS, Blitz Greddy etc do not have any facilties for making Engine oil. They just contract another company to make for them and choose the additive package. Its just like those cheap oils in Giant. These companies do make oil as well. Again, they just buy from another company (including additive package) and repackage it as their own.

The main difference between premium and cheap oils would be things like quality of the base stock used (mainly PAO for snythetic) and the type of additives (there are numerous variants with a wide price range).

The brand makes it expensive... Use Redline or Amsoil...
