My dad teana 2.5l consume about 10% fuel when he accidentally forgotten to off his engine for like 90mins.

I always see those ppl making love in cars at those punggol end and east coast they just leave there engine on for a very long time, perhaps TS planning something like that? hehe [:p]

hello son. you are right.

fuel will start to burn heavily in a Teana 250XV but i don't feel much different for 1.6L car when idling.

how much different? i have no idea. but i am certain by looking at the km/l meter, it will keep dropping.

but this is not the worst. the worst is during a heavy traffic jam.

Both will ' heat up" very fast. The car being stationary, may also heat up without they knowing. If there is a leak in undercarriage and if the exhaust managed to creep in the high percentage of accumulated Carbon monoxide inise the cabin will slow send them to haven to met St Peter.
