2 way alarm

Hi to all bros / sis here,

 

 

Can any1 kindly advise on 2 way alarm. Was thinking of installing, no particular brand in mind. Benn checking ard but according to some it's not advisable as it might cause short curcuit or messed up other electrical stuff in my ride.

Anyway, mine is juz a jap 1.5......

i got a singtech.

 

ok la quite reliable, no complains so far. when forgot to lock the car, the remote will give warning sound and vibrate after about 30secs.

 

as forgetful as i am, i always not sure if i have locked the door, the remote got a screen that shows if the doors are lock.

 

it will also set off alarm at the remote if glass are shattered, never try, donno work a not....

 

the remote battery last about 3 months, AAA batteries.

 

best is, my wife always forgot to take hand phone, when i pick her up, i will purposely not to lock the door, so her set of car remote will give out warning sound and she knows i have arrived.

 

she works at the 3rd floor of the building btw.

they got another model with remote start, think its about $320, mine $220 with no remote start.

I got spy alarm bought frm mcf sponsor..

 

Good ting

- give short alarm if got slight impact on car (say some1 bang on ur door)

- got remote start

- got auto start (can set timing)

- lcd screen give u feedback

- etc

 

bad part

- alarm went haywire wen i went to fix led lights on door but later on found its "normal"

- remote battery use up damn fast sia..i use energiser AAA, last me like 10 days. (got batt level indicator & cannot lock/unlock if batt low)

so far so good.
