Got Minister visit my house today

Just now after dinner, I hear someone pressing my door bell. I went to take a look and a man introduce himself as a staff from the RC.

 

Saying that Minister for XXX and also also MP for YYY GRC is paying house visit to residents and tell me to provide feedback to him if i had any.

 

I am quite surprised coz I remember the last time got minister come talk to me personally and show concern is duno how many yrs back and shortly after, I am issued a coupon telling me to tick one of the box and drop into a metal box at a nearby primary sch on a particular date.

 

Talk to him for awhile and close door.

 

Then I realise yesterday when I came home from work ard 8PM, I saw several workers doing maintenance work on staircase, corridor doors, shifting of potted plants etc. I thot how come so siao on for the authorities to carry out work at night. And also several guys in office attire inspecting the corridor and surrounding area.

 

Now I know why..

those living in sengkang near the mrt will notice a temporary stage with white shelter have been setup in the open field beside it.

 

these few days, areas near there had been spruce up, those area with the grass bare had new soil covered over it, soil on the pavement due to the rain had also been clean up(been there for several weeks).

 

i am guessing some MP must be vsisting, in fact, i believe the PM is coming coz even during the National Day Celebration, also dun have this type of cleanup.

Mine has also never visited my place for over 7yrs. I only occassionally see him at a coffeeshop, not in his GRC, having hos breakfast. The last time I have an MP visited my place was in the 70's.

Previously, someone also knocked on my sis door and told to that some MP is visiting and asked her to dress appropriately, open the door and wait at the door.

 

My sis said'"so what? i am free watching VCD not free." and closed the door.

 

for that, I high-fived her and treated her to chili crab.

eee.... where I live, we hope our MP never come again. If he comes our hairs stand on ends (see ghost, he passed away recently)
