Friends , can i check is there a limit to how many LV a person can buy in Paris ? Some rumors says 2 per pass port some say no limit Zzzz Can anyone clarify ?

nah... i bought 5-6 with 1 passport.... but if you buying from galaries lafayette...... try to do your cash refund at the airport if paris is the last stop.. go earlier to do the refund... they give you cash straight and do not eat your credit card details like lafayette

 

try not to do the refund at lafayette as advised by most people... because my friend encountered... they gave you refund but later they claim back from your credit card... lucky my fren agent was on the way to paris again and got it sorted out... paperwork was not done properly by lafayette......

 

loewe also quite nice brand

see their stock and crowd on that day. went in feb, bought 4 pcs and another customer (fr Japan) was buying 8pcs, no issue.

 

anyway, just stroll down to printemps or galleries or another nearby LV.

 

but i agree with the previous post, get chanel. lv not even leather to begin with, only canvas + excellent mktg.

ask first if can get cash refund, otherwise don't buy.

 

kenna 1 credit card refund problem from lafayette. (dealing with frenchies on this can puke blood)

 

printemps better admin and can get cash refund.

 

yes, ah tiongs always cause problem, cos when red sg passport whip out, the treatment became better.

chanel dont specialise in leather goods leh but more expensive also.

I getting LV for myself , wifey getting chanel , then maybe also lv for herself an her sis . Pok Kai liao but on a serious note, Chanel one classic flap is 4 k plus in Europe , for that I can get more bigger lv bag for her. Chanel not v practical leh hahaha

only the trimming is made from leather. the monogram is canvas. LVMH stock is no. 1.

i gt special tution from the brand expert my ger..

 

my aunts monogram wallets already 20years. the leather smell still there. and it looks not 1 day older than 5years old.

If my last destination I Paris and I am departing from CDG airport , I can claim my tax and take cash from the airport right?

 

 

Yes, always get the refund at the last exit point....for example, if you travel from France to Italy...you claim it in Italy...If you do it in France, still ok but u need to show all the document when u leave Italy...
