Previously I owns the 1989 version & have Sporadically tested the newer ones but I dun see any difference realli,perhaps the 16 have slightly more powerful . I have a 212 then & found the Feel is more modern . The Master piece is Bang up to date ,with their Cruise control ,memory seat ,rear blind. I was thinking Woa. If it’s the Character u are Looking for ,the older engines are juzz spot on. U can feels 1980s all over again ,Black & white images flashing by u. A 2022 KIA K3 will best a W124 in many areas of performance and features. This thread is about old Mercedes, so i don't understand how these latest posts add value to this discussion.
