they wrapped it with newspaper.. if u want can buy a straofoam box.. rm3 box can put 10packs.

but I buy 20-30 packs.. hoot back to SG.. no problem... I think can last 4hrs once it's wrapped.

btw, for muar, the food are not located together like newtown circus.. you need to travel.. lol.

Neutral Newbie

Hi Guys,

If you are able to get some day leave to enjoy a short getaway with your families. You might want to consider joining this road trip that is organised by U Family. I had join them this year June for a road trip up to Kuantan, the price that i paid for was reasonable as they cover most of the meals except 1 dinner. They even bring the families to the turtle sanctuary and the children enjoyed themselve as they get to release turtles into the sea. They even prepare tulip system to let the families experience but if those families who choose not to do the tulip system, they can follow the convey. Of cos me and my family is the more adventurous side, so we did the tulip, we even dress up for the Indian Jones Dinner Party on the 1st day. I am considering about joining for this road trip this time round, wonder if anyone of you would be interested. If you need more information, you can look for in their website. www.ufamily.org.sg/treasure.

Cheers :D

Yeah Malacca sounds interesting. Haven't been there for quite a while.

I'm bored with Kota Tinggi already so one alternative I can think of is the coastal road of Trengganu but its so far away and definitely not to be covered in a day! I don't mind a slow drive as I find that relaxing as long as I have a destination.

What about Malacca? Any good places to go there?

Hi there, are you a MR driver? Well me too! Have been to Mersing before? It takes about two and a half hour drive. Its good to test the sportronic gear when overtaking and upslope. You can go Tioman from Mersing. If you like fish crackers or chendol, thats the place to visit. Its lke sg in the 80's. I'm planning to go Terangganu on June school holiday next year by using the East Coast way through Mersing. No toll to pay but journey might take a longer time.Anyway the scenario must be perfect as you passby the coast line,

I'm going Malacca on Christmas this year just to get use to my Lancer MR... nice to know you,,happy driving [drivingcar]

Bro...

I drive a Wish... only 4 gears so its more of a slow and relaxing drive for me.

Yes I do want to do the coastal road drive especially when you have the beach on one side of the road.

But it has to be a 4 days trip at least because I want to go up to Trg, then left to Penang and then down to KL. But that needs some planning so I will do it once I come back from overseas... have not thought of when but I will do it one day.

Yes I have been to Mersing...but it was to get on a boat to the kelongs for a night of fishing :)

Went to Malacca 1.5 months ago, a lot had hanged since as Jonker walk doesn't even exist the last time i was there!

Lots of good food in Jonker street and those chicken rice 'balls' is a must try.

There's also a Go-kart circuit just after the ayer keroh exit, karts are newer and are using 250cc subaru engines. : )

Turbocharged

Just to share if any AWD SUV owners who've never explored the full potential of your SUV, and are hesitant to drive in some dirt terrain on your own in Malaysia. You can google FootWorks Media and contact Chris for more info.

I've been to several driving holidays organised by Chris and thoroughly enjoy the wholesome family fun. This 'Uncle' owns 2 Mazda 6 2.5 and he leads the pack, with either of his 2 daughters driving the sweeper car. They are chio (I guarantee you), are in their 20s and most importantly, are single. TIKOs here, don't miss your chance, but first, get yourself an AWD SUV.  [:)]
