Ice cream seller attacks woman with her walking stick at ICA building

 

 

 

Visitors to The Immigration and Checkpoints Authority yesterday afternoon were shocked when two ice-cream vendors started attacking a woman with a walking stick, while cussing at her.

 

A STOMPer, who witnessed the scene, says that it was embarrassing to see such ugly behaviour happening at the ICA.

 

In a video he captured, the woman being attacked can be seen trying to stop the woman from swinging her walking stick at her.

 

When she fails to convince the duo to calm down, she escapes by running across the road.

 

The elderly lady, who was trying to hit her, then followed her across the road while her male companion continued to hurl vulgarities at the woman.

Seriously though, I think incidents like this have been happening all the while, except that in the past, there were no videocam mobile phones, and all those nifty gadgets that we have now. And certainly no STOMP website. So we were not aware that these things were happening. But nowadays every little thing is noted, recorded, and uploaded for all to see...
