and by the way, the bottle got a guage of min - max scale bar

but once i open my pressure cap the coolent will rise above the max scale.

so i still add in distilled water? as now it is just above the min scale bar for now

add distilled water ?!?!?! No need to do that, it's supposed to contain just coolant.

When ur car is in motion, the coolant level will rise above the min. bar, so dun worry about that. U only need to worry if it falls below the min. bar, and if it's only a little below, u can buy some coolant and top up urself. But never exceed the max. bar level.

No, its not normal! How did you perform your flush? Just drain and refill the radiator? Did you remove the thermostat or anything?

ya something is not right here....i changed my coolant from green to red....my coolant reservour is still white and coolant is still red after one year.....i think there is a chemical reaction somewhere in TS case.

when ur coolant is brown, it may indicate that there is a leak in the cooling system (e.g. engine oil leaking into cooling system). I experienced it once before, had to have costly work done, sigh.

google it dude...

I suspect your coolant is not flushed properly.

There's still old chemical mixing with the new one and thus the slime or rusty colour.

last 2 week i flush my coolent, then i notice that today, my whole bottle that contain the coolent, become rusty brown in colour.

please see below for the coolent box , is it normal?

If u open up e resevoir n see e coolant is clean n green, i think e rust stuck on e inside of e bottle is from b4 u do e flush. Main thing is coolant is clean.

U can remove e plastic bottle n give it a through clean n replace it n top-up e level with e correct mix of coolant n distilled water if your coolant is concentrated. 50/50 mix is ok.

If yr coolant is already pre-mixed, just fill till e 'max' mark. E coolant sud b over e 'min' mark when engine is cold as it wil rise to abt 'max' mark when hot as e liquid expands when hot.

As long as e level is above e min mark[when cold] n stays there after a week, no worries.

If it keeps dropping, u might hv a leak in e system n sud get it checked by a good mech.

Do not mix different types of coolant as it wil cause problems.
