Newkid 2nd Gear October 10, 2010 Share October 10, 2010 dun forget the yen has been rising steadily against the SGD and this affects the OMV of Jepun cars in SGP and hence the basic car cost. COE is only one of the factors. On the other hand, the Euro has been heading the opposite direction.

Civic6228 6th Gear October 11, 2010 Share October 11, 2010 The ALTIS is Made in Thailand and I doubt that BM is buying them in YEN as the appreciation of the YEN should not effect the OMV of the car. Cars that are MIJ will be effected by the raising YEN and their OMV is higher nowadays. The biggest disappointment with the ALTIS is the 4-Speed gear box.
