Am considering 1 of these 2:

1. http://www.sgcarmart.com/used_cars/info.ph...049&DL=1078 ($65,800, Sep 2006, w/o sunroof)

Concerns:

a. How come the OMV is so high @$40k, when a 2.5A with sunroof one is average only $30-32k. In fact the COE is higher than the 3.5L model.

b. Can the mileage be so low, only 15k per year?

2. http://www.sgcarmart.com/used_cars/info.ph...922&DL=1000 ($57,800, Nov 2005, w/ sunroof)

Concerns:

a. 5 year old car

b. never buy from direct seller before. Is it better than buying from dealer?

Which will you guys go for?

Thks for advise

1. mileage too low... likely to be tweaked...omv very hard to say, might be dependent on the exchange rate of euro THEN. other features etc.

2. i prefer direct seller. usually more straightforward. less lying. but probably more troublesome in terms of paperwork for 1st timers

When i sold my 2.5yr twin-top with 13k mileage, buyer also doubt it...asking if i tweak it???

Good thing its still under warranty, so can verify with workshop.

Do you mean they share same engine? But i thot 93 is a LPT?

Does any one has experience with buying imported used vehicle? What are the things to take note?

A Saab 93 is an Opel Vectra in disguise! :D

Opel model from 1980's but Saab has a

nice badge.

Huh, what do you mean that Saab 9-3 is an Opel Vectra is disguise?

Like a ford mondeo and mazda 6 kind? Do they share the same parts then?

Hi Bro,

What is the mileage that you had clocked? What is the typical kind of maintenance $$ that I need to set aside per year and for major repair? Sorry for so many question as I had never driven a conti before but SAAB is too good to resist....Thanks in advance!
