Don't understand how the new pointing system work 😅

Doesn't bother me to go understand 😂

Some scholar idea as a ticket for a promotion. Same same la.
good ones still go good school. They even give you a cross ref of AL points vs T score during the 1st year of implementation.
all it does is to affect the 5-10% who use their higher math and science to get a higher T score in the past. Majority no diff.
in this case the 5-10% they can change system. But 10% PHV they say no effect even if it’s a separate class. 😂

She got AL9. Definitely underperformed her friends.

Only can choose st nics and Cedar SEC as the best options. Nan chiau as the 3rd option.

SCGS is AL8 for both IP and O levels.

She actually got 1 for both languages. But she got 3 for math and 4 for science.

I just pointed out to her just now, how can you lose 13-18% of the math paper to careless mistakes... Criminally careless. Have to 反省。

Both 1 for languages a a good achievement. U really just need to be good in one thing to be successful in life.

Last time as we say, those good in Arts/Lit (languages) , won't be good in maths and sci.

And vice versa.

Kids have different aptitudes.

Long ago I remember tutoring math to a JC student who wanted to qualify for law school, language very good but math failing and barely breathing. Luckily made it.

She's more humanities inclined slightly, but not markedly. Just a normal Jane.
Her math is usually OK. Just that this time fall into pothole.

Her science is middling. Definitely her weaker subject. Have to choose subjects carefully when she goes into upper secondary.

Not sure about $80. Tonight check again.

School level top 25%.

Whole level around i presume 200 students for total of 6 classes. So about 50 would get such certificate. Look like communion sharing of bread. 🤣

Unfortunately at each stage, it determine your life unless your family can send you overseas to overcome this. Money power. 😆
