Parkingidiot 1st Gear October 3, 2010 Share October 3, 2010 i have been using them since I bought my current car about 5 years ago... so far ok, except for some minor issues. (the one at Kaki bukit) Oh, there was 1 issue which was not really satisfactory but is not a show stopper, so I still go back to them. This one was when I changed my shocks at 2 servicings ago. After that there was huge creaking sounds from the rear of my undercarriage whenever my car had a full load or went over humps. I don't think it was damage or anything, just probably the new shocks. So I asked them to check in the last servicing a couple of weeks ago. They said they added grease to the affected areas, but the creaking sounds are still there, but not as bad. I don't think it is a cause for worry - but it's a bit irritating. Not sure if there is a way to fix the problem once and for all.

Weixiang_2008 Clutched October 3, 2010 Author Share October 3, 2010 try proswift, autosaver your reviews on proswift and autosaver? autosaver seems to be very comprehensive and value for money for their 40k servicings...
Taz 1st Gear October 4, 2010 Share October 4, 2010 bro weixiang, Can you further elaborate on their 40k servicing? I went for 30k servicing. Service wise quite good because they do things like cleaning throttle, filling up tyres with nitrogen gas etc that AD won't do. But, they also charge for things like tyre rotation, aircon filter.... end up i paid near to $200 for servicing my vios@30k. Note that all the listed prices exclude GST.. Now, my ride is almost at 40k.... thinking whether to go back to autosaver or AD... Is it really that good there ????

They don't mind drivers standing around and observing them whilst they work. In fact, in the last few years, I have been taking photos of my car through the various servicings and changing of parts, whilst they are working. So I think that's not a problem. Early on, I used to go down without booking.. but nowadays, if don't book end up have to wait in queue. They will still entertain, but 1st come 1st serve. If book, at least can guarantee a slot. Taz 1st Gear October 5, 2010 Share October 5, 2010 I actually went there several occasions to install my struts bars, rotate tyres and other minor things. Only service once at 30k. Yup, they usually let you see what they do to your car. By observing what they do and chatting with them, I should say that I do learn a bit here and there. Try going there in the late afternoon. Less ppl during that time. Avoid early in the morning or lunchtime. Generally, they are very friendly ppl. Service very good, just that the price is a bit ex.... (e.g. they charged me around $40 for aircon filter). By the way, I'm referring to the Toh Guan branch. ↡ Advertisement
