Seek advice. reasonable of car insurance premium?

The cheapest quote which i got is ~$2.6k. is it reasonable?

 

used car model is Mazda 3, almost 3years.

 

It is my first car and i got 3years plus driving experience...

i presume that's premium package, it will be half for classic package. difference is classic insure life lost for 20K while premium at 50K.

Try to get an online quote, it worked out to be much cheaper for me.

 

You can get instant quotes from either Aviva or DirectAsia. Go to their respective websites, key in your details and options and you will get an instantaneous quote. You can then buy it with your credit card.

 

I bought mine from DirectAsia recently as they offered lower premium and lower access compared to the other quotations i got. Best of all I can print out the insurance certificate on my own so I don't have to wait for them to snail mail it to me.

 

As I was buying a used car directly from the previous owner, this "print-my-own-cert" feature was a huge convenience for me. I could buy the insurance online in the morning, print out the insurance certificate, meet the seller at LTA to do the ownership transfer, and drive the car home.... all in 1/2 day's work!!... :D

Because you are buying direct from the Insurance company and not through an agent, so you save on the "middleman" fee

looks like the premium is always better than classic.
