Taggy 1st Gear September 30, 2010 Share September 30, 2010 today then i found out DBS home loan do not provide monthly statements. not used to it. standchart, citi, ocbc do provide. never consider this point when selecting a home loan, had thought ALL banks give out monthly statements (to me, not being able to view the statement detail online is bad enuff), now learn thru the hard way, certainly this become one of the priorty factor to consider when doing refinance. any other bros, can share which other banks do not provide monthly statement ? ↡ Advertisement

Taggy 1st Gear September 30, 2010 Author Share September 30, 2010 CPF also dont provide Monthly Statement. but CPF website is very detail, can log in to see the up to date transactions. DBS website simply provide a outstanding loan amount, no deduction details.

Coolpica 4th Gear September 30, 2010 Share September 30, 2010 U can check the monthly deductions from other sources. If u pay using CPF, in your CPF statement, it'll be stated. If u pay using cash from saving accounts, u can check the monthly statement of that account online.
Agalvilaku 2nd Gear September 30, 2010 Share September 30, 2010 my friend told me ocbc home loan detail come together with current account statement... I have savings account only, so, don't get the monthly statement on housing loan. Only get the annual statement for installment payments. Through online can only check the outstanding housing loan amount. Not sure how they treat the current account one's.

Taggy 1st Gear September 30, 2010 Author Share September 30, 2010 Erm, why is this a big deal? Just curious. I am more interested in interest rate. actually is easier to track the outstanding balance each month, and also the latest interest rate. citi and standchart gave me that mah... so maybe rest of other banks all no have are the norm... ↡ Advertisement
