Lamborghini have unveiled the Sesto Elemento concept.

The entire car, including the V10 powerplant weighs just 999kg.

This gives it a 0-100km timing of 2.5 seconds

who cares? How much can you see from the drivers seat anyway? And if you can do 0-100 in 2.5, how long can people look at it?

Seems like all their concepts cars are taking reference from the Reventon...

Wow just 1 ton..... amazing considering the powerplant already takes up 1/5 of the weight. Pehaps they remove all interior trims etc...... and you get a real tracking car with minimal stuffs.

Give you 5 to 1 that it is not called the Jota, and that it will look quite different to the spy pix....one thing that Lamborghini is very good at is keeping secrets, and the Jota name (IMHO) does not fit.

it won't be called the Jota definitely (what an opiang name if that's the case).....that's a code name for the spy model..... [laugh]

Actually, look back in history, Jota used to be the name for the Miura test mule...it was also a race version of the Miura. One of a kind, ended up being sold off and crashed. In one iteration it had a 0-100 time of less than 4 seconds, in the 1960s!

So as a test bed, Jota is quite an appropriate name....the final model, have to wait and see I guess.

They all belong to the same company, thats why. Same designer. Won't be surprise to see Lambo and Audi looking like VW too.
