Your model seems wrong. Qns says 'Four fewer than 1/3 of the remainder are red ribbons'. Your model shows 1/3 of the total number. Care to enlighten?

Think many of us may be reading too much into this.

 

The questions for PSLE cannot be based on assumptions i.e. minimum value to be taken as answer and is really a lot more straightforward. Even if such qns are posed, there will be parameters given i.e. minimum number.

 

err... but the "official" answer is not the minimum....

Was referring to PSLE. This is not a PSLE qns. It's a sch prelim paper and mistakes may be made by teachers. That said, there were previously gaffes, possibly due to ambiguity, and students who took PSLE were 'compensated'.

Heheh no panda eyes....but from single eye lip....become double eye lip....strange...maybe not enough sleep :D

I seem to recall during my day that we were supposed to assume that it was the minimum unless told otherwise....

hehe yup bro..standby video and digital camera already. Had wanted to send my little princess to infantcare at 8 mths...but told my wife...better wait till she can walk...if not very poor thing..the teachers will just put her in the baby cot....when can walk...at least she can roam around and play.
