Speed camera at night

Do anyone kena summon ticket for speeding at night on Malaysia highway? It is by speed camera or road block?

Never met one before but I have relative who met with 1 road block conducted around 10pm -11pm.

Talking about road block, it seems to me those along 2nd link are pretty genuine. They only stop those who really speed above limit. And don't try to give money in return for let off.

 

I met 1 yesterday evening and while I passed by the road block, the 2 cars who pulled over are M-plate.

Reason i posted this thread is b'cau i saw 1 speed trap booth with light "ON" sometime around 9pm plus. Wonder in operation or eat snake... Anyway no cars tent to slow down.. all drive as per usual 130 - 160km/h. Same as me.. hahaha....

Never kenna, but i have seen genuine anti-speeding operations. They even checked my number against a clipboard, and then waved me on. the dudes that were speeding past me earlier were all pulled over, and it didnt matter if they were singaporean or malaysian cars

Agree. Just be careful and ask for identification if need be.

Kena caught for speeding just before M'sia custom on returning thr Tuas. There was a road block where speeding cars were directed to the road side while those not speeding were waved to move on.
