on Mercedes-Benz in the US and Europe,

they have this program called MBrace which links your Iphone to your car so you can monitor the condition via the internet.

You can check on the heartbeat sensor, unlock doors, warm the car, start the engine, stop alarms remotely anywhere.

This is available from the C-class upwards I believe.

Yes. My jazz also considered keyless entry.

Meaning you hold the key in your hand, press the key black button to unlock the door.

Open the door, insert the metal key, twist to start and go.

What is so keyless about that.

The true keyless is in Lexus and BMW.

You just Hold the door handle and it unlocks! No need to press any black buttons. Then you step brake, and push start button to start engine. All the while the keys in your bag.

Press button to stop engine, open and close door. Touch the handle again to lock the car before you walk away!

Now that is true keyless!

Of course there are aftermarket totally keyless retrofit as well.

Where you just have the transponder in your pocket, the door wil unlock and lock when you walk near or walk away.

Most modern-day Mercedes can be fitted with keyless go just like that, holding the door handle without pressing any black buttons.

the first technology of keyless go was fitted on the W220 S class year 2002. Been around for quite a while now...
