Which model E200 or E250 CGI?

Good buy considering other competition?

Any thoughts on this vehicle

Mercedes Benz overpriced,just 4 cyls turbo,204 Bhp,RWD,i would get the Audi's A5 soft top,with 3L-V6,333Bhp supercharged,& 4WD with that $$$.!

E coupe/cabrio is based on W204 C lass platform.

E200/250 CGI engines are all new 1.8 direct injection turbo charged (similar to VAG's turbo FSI found in A4, Passat CC and Superb)/

Though gearbox is still the old 5 speed touchtronic (not as efficient as VAG's DSG), its not that bad.

Comparing 3er coupe/cabrio (hardtop cabrio tho) and A5 coupe/cabrio..... check their OMV and you are in for a shock for the price they are asking for.

Overall balance, comfort, value.... i think E coupe/cabrio is a hard package to beat.

For me, i'd go for E250 if cost is not an issue (204bhp/310Nm/0-100 7.5). However, if performance is not an important factor... E200 is sufficient (184bhp / 270Nm / 0-100 8.2sec).

Valuewise, E250 is more worth it, OMV 63k, asking 259k.

E200 ... OMV 52k asking 240k

however,

Audi's A5 looks has been adulterated with that soft top. The coupe looks way better.

If it's based on the C Class platform, What are the pro's and cons of that?

My interpretation is that there would be better road handling as the C is a sweet handling car.

in the world of luxury cars, only people who cannot afford it will think its overpriced.

If you really did compare the omv, you will find the Audi and Merc are similar in terms of premium over basic cost. PML is charging higher.

But for that amount of money I will go for a PI S5 Cab and nv look back. I do agree with the post above saying the A5/S5 coupe is much better appealing than the cabrio, but we are talking about cabrio here.

I might want to top up to get a E350 cabrio, 6 pot plus 7g tronic, sweet~

I guess it all boils down whether you appreciate Mercedes-Benz for replacing the E230 2.5V6 7G-Tronic series with the more fuel efficient and cleaner E250CGI 1.8Turbo 5AT....

if your prefer NA V6, there's always the E350 to choose or else,

go for BMW lor....

i mean,

even Audi is on the Turbocharging, Supercharging bandwagon now....

A5 2.0TSI, S5 3.0 SS....etc.....

so.

are you buying one with your first paycheck? there was a guy here who bought a C180 with a monthly salary of $3k. impressive huh?

you know what, after you graduate you should apply to PML, PA or C&C for sales job... sure can sell many cars and you will own your very own Audi/BMW/MB before you know it!
