Reminds me of the common joke about winning a bronze in competition.

Reason being only three contestants!

Come on Singapore....This is the good chance to boost our gold medals winnings!!

Show the world we have brave and committed World Class winning athletes!!

Commonwealth Games

"expected to draw 7,000 athletes and officials from countries and territories mostly from the former British empire, has been severely delayed and doubts had already been raised about its quality"

YOG

"The Youth Olympic Village (YOV) of the Games housed over 5,000 athletes and team officials for 18 days from 10 to 28 August 2010. Located in Nanyang Technological University (NTU),"

Which is bigger Commonwealth or Youth Olympics?

I thought Olympic is worldwide event, so should have more contestants and events. Seems like commonwealth is a bigger event, in terms of participants!

Only if can make money or for charity. Likely no one has the budget to pay us for such rescue operation. We do not want our SCDF to go bust preforming such a rescue

Sad to say, ours are more concern on the medal than safety....seriously, if my children is part of the team, I won't let them go even if they have to give up sports as their career.... India is a messy place... [knife]
