Like dat i rent your second car ok? Sure cheaper than buying my own..

 

But to TS, there is no way you will be able to enforce diff price for local and foreigner - locals will just make money by reselling to foreigner, and then you will have worse problems....

I doubt so, singaporeans earning $3k to $4k would be willing to spend on cars especially the young graduates. Foreigners need to earn a lot more before they are willing to do

I tink that's wayyyyy too complex for a simple-minded person like TS. If foreigners left sgp like he wishes, he tink all the goodies will finally come to losers like him. But he doesn't know that in a 3rd world economy, life will be even worse for ppl like him....

Simple.... Foreigners cannot buy 2nd hand car. then no more problems. If foreigners need to use a car, they can only rent or buy new ones.

 

Then they have to pay 2x the COE and 2x the road tax. Not happy? Go live somewhere else. No one is forcing them to migrate here.

How will you enforce?

 

Rental market will boom, which will lead to less transperancy, harder to enforce, more hit n run and a lot of other stuff as well.
