I mean countless of Koup drivers....most are harmless everyday drivers.

 

Did met 2 or 3 jokers in a Koup that irritate me with their reckless/fierce driving.

But usually they either mellow down after I drove beside them or they can't catch up with me. :)

 

 

Then again....I met many such drivers in my years of driving in SG... the percentage who are Koup drivers is negligable.. ;)

I just hope that the population of those "racer wannabes" will not increase cos these are the ones that are driving up insurance costs...I really hate to see a car labelled as a "high accident rate" car cos of those losers that are driving it hence those ppl whom are considering to buy that car cos they truly like it but are put of by the rediculous permiums simply walk away cos they cant afford it. I think this kidna behaviour is very very selfish.One such car is of course the rex and civics...civis is mainly back in the EF-EK eras tts y the name is tainted liao sadly...swift sport is another up and coming one...

Some drivers really gotten so over whelming over the "coupe" thinggy but in fact it is just a 2 door version of the kia cerato forte if you ask me. Just like previously a post of a group consisting of 3 coupe demanding TS to give up the space just because they claimed they are driving a S"pork"car..... actually nothing much .

avante and forte/koup have the exact same engine

but avante has only 107 bhp while forte/koup got 125

 

good thing is that forte/koups are faster on the roads than most 1.6L cars, based on statistics alone a 1.6 forte/koup is as fast as a 1.8 altis or as fast as a 1.6 civic with ivtec

but bad point is that you won't even get another 1 bhp from tuning because the car is already aggressively tuned from factory

No, it will make at least 10% more power, provided its done properly and you run high octance petrol. Advance your timing to the max, tune your fuel to near 14.7:1 (slightly rich is know to make most power). Then you will see your engine comes to life, provided there is no detonation/pinging cause you will be using very aggressive settings.
