While working on the Japanese song list, I realised that Japanese pop scene actually make up of many talented bands and singers. On the other hand, the Korean is pretty strong in producing dancing queens and dance floor princes.

Hana from Ishikawa Sayuri and Cho Yong Pil

真夏の果実 by Southern All Stars

恋におちて from Akiko Kobayashi ~ My all-time favourite [:)]

かざぐるまby Hitoto Yo is nice and so is the Chinese version.

 

Another good example is 花, also have a nice Chinese version.

 

真夏の果実 is another popular song and there are so many cover version.

 

恋におちてis really 经典！

My favourite from Proposal Daisakusen.

 

I guess for songs where we don't understand the lyrics. Must be linked to some movie or drama serial :D

 

You are also another Southern All Stars fan [laugh]. This band is like an evergreen band. Their recent song/album is titled "The dirty old man" [grin].

It looks like we have more senior citizens here [laugh]. If talking about old-timer band, my favourite beside Southern All Stars then it has to be the Off Course(Soft rock band)!

My favorite is Shan Ko Bai Hui (Momoe Yamaguchi)

Shot to fame at very young age and retired very shortly after getting married to Japanese actor.
