poor thing. even til end still put up a front. he seems to be afraid that singapore will fall without him. if that is so, does it mean he has no confident in his son and the million dollar ministars?

All great men have their shortcomings in one form or another.

 

Like I say, he was a great man for his time.

 

He is no doubt a great leader...but a lot of the things he did was for a selfish hidden agenda too...

He did his part for singapore, doing both good and bad stuff in the process. it's time for him to move on and retire. And not hold on to power.

 

now, he is just like a broken recorder. his way of governing singapore no longer works in this day and age, with the advent of the internet and with globalisation.

 

please retire before singapore sinks even deeper.
